READ THIS PAGE IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE DOWNLOADING FORMS!!
So, your child is all registered and ready to start lessons...
Just a few housekeeping issues to finish up and then we are ready to get started.
You will need to go to the Downloadable Forms link and print:
* 2 copies of the "Pool Rules",
* 1 copy of the "Full BUDS" form as you will be filling this form out on a daily basis for the duration of lessons,
* 1 copy of the "BUDS Instruction" sheet.
Be sure to read the Pool Rules form carefully! It details all of the things you need to bring with you to lessons and other important information in order to make your child's swimming lessons a success. It is very important that this form be read in its entirety!Please initial each section and sign it at the bottom and bring the signed copy with you to your first lesson.
Read through the BUDS Instruction Sheet and start filling out the Full BUDS form the day prior to your first lesson. It is imperative that you fill out the Full BUDS form every day and bring it with you to lessons to present to me prior to the start of lessons each day. The information on the Full BUDS is important information to me so that I can provide a SAFE lesson for your child(ren). You also need also to fill out the Poolside BUDS in my notebook for each child every day.
Last but not least, please print and sign your child's completed Registration form and bring it with you to the first lesson. This is very important and I must have it in order to swim your child the first day!!
You can print this now by logging back into your child's account via the registration link you were sent by me previously, and login and password that you created when you registered.
A few days after you have completed registration and received a message from ISR saying your child has been approved to start lessons you will receive a package containing a Parent Resource Guide in addition to a swim diaper (if necessary), an ISR T-shirt, and other goodies.
Please take the time to read through the Parent Resource Guide as it contains great and very important information. It is actually a really easy to read and has important information in it regarding your child's lessons. I cannot emphasize enough that YOU NEED TO READ THE PARENT RESOURCE GUIDE!!!
If at any time there is lightning in the area and your child has lessons scheduled, please check the Weather Conditions link for updates from me regarding lesson cancellation, etc.
So, for your first day you need to bring the following:
* 2 swim diapers (if your child is not 100% potty-trained) and a bathing suit, if desired, to be worn over top of diapers.
* 3 pool towels.
* Signed registration form.
* Signed Pool Rules form
* Full BUDS form filled out for the day prior to lessons and morning of lessons.
Please take the time to also review the ISR Parent Resource Video prior to starting lessons.
Thank you for taking the time to read all of this thoroughly. I know it is a lot of information, but I believe in communicating everything to parents so that they know what to expect every step of the way. I look forward to meeting you and teaching your little one to be an amazing aquatic problem solver!
